Understanding the Basics of a Conference PTT System
Conference Systems (in basic) are composed of a 'chairman' mic and 'delegate' mics which are all connected to a control unit. Delagates push a button on the table-top mic in front of them to speak, and if too many people are speaking at once, the Chairman can push a button that overrides everyone else. Simple and effective way to keep control of the board or council meeting.
The House of Jax maintains a wired system for greater reliability, and while our in-house rental system can support up to 10 presenters, we have the ability to scale up to any size delegation or congress.

The Taiden HCS-4100/50 Fully Digital Congress Main Unit is the heart of this conference system. All of the mics and peripherals connect to this unit, and the basic operations can b handled directly on the front panel. You'll need at least one of these to run a system.

The Taiden HCS-4338D Delegate Unit is a tabletop microphone with a single button. When a delegate wishes to speak, the speaker simply pushes and holds the button to activate the mic.
Please note that the House Of Jax Delegate units and microphones are silver in color.

Rental Taiden HCS-4338C Chairman Unit

The Taiden HCS-4338C Chairman Unit is very similar to the Delegate unit in that there is a tabletop unit and a microphone, but the Chairman unit has two buttons; one to talk and another to act as an override which will mute all other mics.
