Turntables
Turntables are how modern DJing started (here in the Bronx I might add). Note that we don't usually offer the needles as they're easily broken and DJs normally like to use their own specific make and model.

We acquired this turntable because it has a switchable Line Level and Phono output, which is very convenient for those times where we're going directly into a standard mixer and not a DJ mixer with RIAA inputs. Plus, it's white and very sexy... Hi Torque, surprisingly rugged build, this is a solid professional turntable by Pioneer.

We've been acquiring vintage DJ gear because, well, it's cool and The House Of Jax loves cool gear. The Numark DM1700T is a vintage, professional stereo DJ mixer that was popular in the late 1980s through the 1990s. It was part of Numark's "Sound Studio Series" and was notable for its robust construction and then-advanced features like a built-in equalizer and effects. The model we have has a WRITE and REPEAT switch, which sources suggest came out in 1989. We're happy to supply pictures of the backpanel if needed.
